Rylan & Brianne’s July 7th wedding day was beautiful and so much fun. This couple doesn’t take themselves too seriously and laughter was in abundance, just the way it should be. I had never been to Melville or Esterhazy before but loved both of these charming little towns and we enjoyed our road trip out to spend the weekend with them very much!
Below are a few of my favourite images from their special day.
The bride and groom got ready in different houses, each just a few blocks away from the church. Fortunately, the girls had the whole salon to themselves which was another great place to hang out in the hours leading up to the ceremony. The bride and groom chose to have their nieces and nephews as their attendants which was so unique and fun! The kids were so excited to get ready with their aunt and uncle and to walk down the aisle before them.
Look at the gorgeous wedding details below! The bride’s mom even made her garder which was such a gorgeous shade of purple! The ring box was the bride’s grandmas ‘bobby pin box’ and there was a pendant wrapped around the stem of her bouquet so that she could keep the memory of a very special family member with her throughout the day. Also, look at the back of her dress, stunning!
The ceremony was held in a beautiful church and believe me, it was a packed house! More than a few happy tears were shed by those in attendance (and by the groom as well which is always one of my favourite parts!).
Following the ceremony, we bolted to a park near the church for some photos with the kids and then headed back to the church for some family portraits, and then we drove on to Esterhazy (where the reception was held) and photographed portraits of Rylan and Brianne in a family friend’s backyard; what a gorgeous yard! There were tall trees and flowers everywhere!
And because the bridal party was full of kids (well maybe not JUST because of the kids), the head table was always stocked with chocolate milk. How amazing is that?! And look at those quilts behind the head table, aren’t they gorgeous! Both mom’s (mom of the bride and mom of the groom) each made one and they were the perfect backdrop to the head table. This couple had an ice cream cake as their wedding cake which is simply the best idea ever, followed by an ice cream bar; you can bet everyone went crazy for that! Rylan and Brianne, I absolutely loved watching you guys have so much fun out on the dance floor; between sweet romantic moments and hilarious moves, you guys really rocked it! Thanks again for inviting me out to capture all the love and excitement of your special day!
